Following on from three back-to-back assignments in Micronesia (phew), I’ve just wrapped-up a seven day shoot of one of Fiji’s finest resort properties – The Intercontinental, Fiji.
The brief was to shoot its features and destinguish the property from its competition, with emphasis on the welcoming personality of the staff (which really wasn’t difficult given the genuine warmth of Fijians towards visitors, and the way the nation embraces tourism).
Included in the mix was a visit to the local markets with a couple of the property’s chefs, and the Sigatoka River Safari to a local village which is popular among guests. No need for room and public space shots they said – just concentrate on “the big promotional pictures”.
The perfect brief 😉.
