"WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT what you SPEND on MARKETING YOUR PROPERTY - THE PROMOTIONAL COLLATERAL, THE media, THE TRADE SHOW ATTENDANCES ETC - IT SIMPLY MAKES SENSE TO BE DRAWING FROM A SOLID FOUNDATION OF HIGH-QUALITY IMAGES"
David has been photographing resort and hotels throughout the Asia Pacific region for more than 20 years, delivering high-quality promotional photographs that showcase a property's features and the experience offered to guests.
David photographs all aspects of resort photography - drone and underwater included - to international standards.
While his style can vary to suit the property’s markets, his particular strength as a resort photographer lies in his ability to capture colourful, uplifting images of people enjoying themselves, often set against the backdrop of the property he's photographing.

commercial library access and publicity
Photo Library Access: Hotel and Resorts are often in need of high-quality promotional photographs of the destinations in which their properties are located. Having commissioned an assignment, David’s clients are provided privileged access to his commercial photo library.
Publicity: David will generate publicity for the property by posting on social media to a growing following of editors, travel writers, travel agents, influencers and photographers. This can be coordinated with your marketing department to maximise opportunities during the assignment. David is also likely to feature your property in his blog - A Road Less Travelled - at the end of the assignment.
every property has its own distinct personality
David will shoot to your written brief and a pre-conceived Shot List that identifies the messages you want conveyed about your property, the subjects you want shot, how the photographs will be used, and their priority.
Based on our initial meeting, the best approach to the assignment will be mapped out, working with you to ensure the photographs are captured in optimal conditions and that the assignment delivers to your brief.
At the completion of the assignment, the best of the photographs will be matched to the Shot List and supplied, along with a License Agreement releasing the images to your property for all promotional purposes.
Customised to suit your needs
David’s most popular package for resorts and hotels is his seven-day Introductory Resort Package which generally covers the range of photographs required for promotional purposes.
This includes capturing the property’s prominent features, its public spaces, restaurants, food and refreshments, activities, staff and rooms, as well as aerial shots and, where relevant, underwater photography.
The package can be extended on a daily basis if required, depending on the size of the property and the scope of the assignment.
Having commissioned an initial assignment, clients can have David update their photo libraries at a later date to accommodate special events, changes to the property or seasonal variations. In this instance, David offers a Top-up Package, charged at a reduced daily rate.
David also offers resorts an Early Booking Package which includes a range of benefits and concessions, provided the booking is made well in advance.
