HEADING FOR THE CROSSROADS IN SAUDI

It’s day five of my assignment in Saudi Arabia and, I’m happy to say, I’m finally over my jet lag. Yazid (my guide) and I are off to three mountain locations – spending about three days in Taif, Al Baha and Abha – before the trip culminates in a day at one of Saudi’s most recognised archeological sites – Madain Salah – which I’m particularly excited about. All things being equal (Insh’Allah) the camels and rider we’ve organised will be in place at the crossroads of the ancient trade route around sunset to help produce what I’m hopeful will be an iconic image of the country.

In the meantime, here’s one I quite like from here in Taif (Below)
