Ok, now this is an exceptional experience.
First we swum with the stingrays in a stunning turquoise lagoon bordering Tahiti’s Moorea Island. I spent two hours in the water, hugely entertained as the metre wide stingrays gently danced around us (sometimes over us) – often three at a time. Then we sat around on a nearby atoll eating lunch, with stingrays (and sharks) weaving through the legs of our table. All in glorious weather (remarkable considering how the day began).
I’ll add more later as we started at five this morning and I’m only just back to the hotel at the end of a 14 hour day but I thought I’d post these couple of pics while I’m processing and waiting for room service.
Tomorrow we’re off to a waterfall back here on the main island to photograph Miss Tahiti.
I’ll post a preview at the end of the shoot.
